When you open a jar of Freedom Pickles, you’re not just tasting a snack—you’re tasting a story.

Born out of a labor of love, Freedom Pickles was founded by Jason Loveland and EJ Snyder, the survivalist and television personality known for Naked and Afraid. Together, they poured heart, sweat, and soul into building a brand that embodies hard work, resilience, and a no-compromise approach to quality.

This isn’t a faceless factory operation. In a warm, bustling kitchen, Jason’s daughter Claire and her best friend, Ella Osterhoudt, work side-by-side with the founders—washing, slicing, seasoning, and jarring each batch by hand. Every pickle is prepared with the kind of attention to detail and pride you can only get from people who believe in what they’re creating.

That commitment recently earned Freedom Pickles a coveted spot at the Great American Farmers Market on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Out of more than 1,700 applicants, only 60 vendors were selected to showcase the best of American agriculture, craftsmanship, and culinary artistry. Standing among premier cheese makers, master butchers, and award-winning bakers, Freedom Pickles brought its “Pickles with a Kick” to the nation’s capital—serving up jars that are as bold and unforgettable as the story behind them.

And the buzz didn’t stop there. Freedom Pickles and the Great American Farmers Market were just featured on Lara Trump’s show, The Right View on Fox News, giving the brand a national spotlight and amplifying its reach far beyond the Mall. For Loveland, Snyder, Claire, and Ella, it was another proud moment—proof that their story resonates with audiences everywhere.

For this team, every jar is more than a product. It’s the result of grit, teamwork, and a little brine—turning humble cucumbers into something extraordinary. And if you’ve ever tasted them, you know—this isn’t just a pickle. It’s a piece of the American dream.

Yummy!
