NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today, rising country star Owen Riegling continues his bold new musical chapter with the release of his heartfelt new single “Born Again,” out now via Universal Music Canada and Big Loud Records stateside. Rooted in reflection, growth and unwavering companionship, “Born Again” captures Riegling’s evolution as both an artist and storyteller.
Produced in Nashville by hitmaker Oscar Charles (Elvie Shane, Chase Rice) and co-penned by Riegling alongside his frequent collaboratorJesse Slack (“Moonshines,” “Home Less,” “Church”), “Born Again” captures vivid snapshots of life, love and resilience inspired by Riegling’s relationship with his wife. The song reflects the importance of keeping your people close, enduring hard times together and fully relishing the good ones. Built from a guitar riff Riegling brought to the session, the track came together in just two hours.
“Have you ever felt so sure about someone that you can’t even picture a life that they aren’t in? That’s ‘Born Again,’” Riegling shares. “It’s been one of my favorite songs since the day we wrote it.”
The release follows Riegling’s recent radio single “Taillight This Town,” which debuted as the #1 most added song at Canadian Country Radio in its first week, and landed on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 charts, as well as the gritty, guitar-heavy “Phone Call From Home.” Now surpassing 150 million global streams, Riegling’s grounded storytelling continues to resonate with audiences across borders.
A JUNO-nominated artist, Riegling took home the ‘Ford F-150 Album of the Year’ award for his expanded EP Bruce County (From The Beginning) at the 2025 CCMA Awards, adding to his 2024 CCMA wins for ‘Songwriter of the Year’ (“Old Dirt Roads”) and ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year.’
Recently announced, fans can look forward to a special One Night Only ‘Live In Concert’ at Toronto’s iconic Massey Hall on April 18, 2026(more info here).
