Our family loves authentic experiences. That’s why we try, if at all possible, to book interesting stays at Airbnb’s. We’ve stayed on properties with their own chapels, ones that are off the beaten path that have secret trails to cool breweries, and even one that was on an Alpaca and goat farm. That stay even had a fig tree that the owners insisted we pick from and enjoy in the morning, fresh figs are the BEST.

So, my family wasn’t surprised when I booked a stay at a bunkhouse on a horse and cattle ranch. When we arrived we quickly settled in the bunkhouse so we could take a walk around the property before the sunset. We enjoyed our walk and being around the animals. Cavvietta is home to some sheep, cattle, chickens and quite a few horses.

Off the beaten path and nestled in Elm City, North Carolina, this little slice of heaven was the perfect place to lay our heads for the night. The sun setting through the trees bid us good night and the same sun rising over the ranch welcomed us the next morning.

Gorgeous sun rise over Cavvietta♥️

The bunkhouse itself was comfortable and clean. There was a queen bed and two bunkbeds so it would accommodate a family nicely. The bunkhouse was equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave and a Keurig. That was more than enough to get us started and back on the road.

Adorable, cozy bunkhouse!

I highly recommend this cute little bunkhouse if you are looking for a cozy spot to rest for a night or two!
